At 18, I did the unthinkable: walked away from my family's third-generation business in China and started over alone in Japan. I clawed my way into Kyoto University, Japan's most elite institution—the only woman in a computer science class of 40+ men. While everyone doubted me, I became the only one who turned my thesis into an actual business and brought it to market.

In my twenties at a global consulting firm, I was the only foreign woman in management. Invisible in the leadership rooms of older men—until I closed multi-million dollar deals and earned undeniable proof.
